Smoking is one of those growing up experiences that I tried and experimented. Although, only for a very brief time andI never really liked it. It wasn't for me. And besides, I knew then it's bad for your health. I just found out that there is such a thing as e cigarette. It is advertised as more smoke, more puffs and no mess. Wow! That's a really good thing to hear especially for those who hate smokers in the family. LOL. As technology is making a great leap and a huge difference in our lives, this advanced way to smoke cigarette is definitely an interesting one.
Buggers
I noticed a couple of weeks ago that ladybugs were a plenty outside. It must be a hatching if not breeding season for them. They seemed to be plentiful this fall than last year's. I wonder if people actually got annoyed by them. Speaking of which there is such a thing as Ladybug steam that looks and designed just like the bug. Anyway, these ladybugs are feeding on plants too. Gardeners must have been bugged by the infestation. Although, I have not seen many around our home, I did see them a lot at the range where there are a lot of trees nearby. In fact, acres of wooden area. Well, it didn't cause much problem but annoyance. Bugsss!
I need my Doc
I don't think I'll be going out today to even make a quick trip to the grocery to get something for dinner. This weather is not my type at all. It makes me stay all day long. I hate to go out as well as I have just gotten over this nauseous feeling I get in the morning from low blood sugar. Well, that's the only thing I can think of that is making me feel weird for days now after a migraine attack. Well, I can ask hubby to stop by at the store and get something that I could make for dinner quickly. I just don't feel like it. I hope this is over soon. I have to call the doctor!
Feeling weird
I don't know why I feel a little nauseous every morning. I don't feel like myself. I feel a little drunk. It's not even close to morning sickness which I experienced when I was pregnant years back. This is something I have never had before. I actually read a little bit about it just to get an idea before I will eventually call for a doctor's appointment.
This could be hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. I just hope it's nothing serious. I have to do something to get over it as I can't live like this everyday. It ruins my morning. I do notice that by the end of the day, I feel normal again. Oh well, I have to watch my health now. I guess my age is taking a toll on me already. I'm not getting any younger. Anyway, gotta go and look up for stainless steel tiles for the renovation of our kitchen. Ciao!
Interested in nursing
Today, I've been reading this book I downloaded online yesterday for nursing school entrance test. I am really interested and would give college a second chance. I got my degree in education years ago, but that wasn't really the best choice I made. I wish I had waited until I finally decided what I wanted in life and what I wanted to do in the future. Oh well, I'm still thankful for that opportunity and for my parents who supported and helped me. I think I will be better this time. I'll give my best shot on this if ever I will pursue this starting next year. Wish me luck! Ciao for now for I will be checking out rackmount on the Internet. See you when I see you.
Boxing fan
We went to bed really late last night because of a boxing fight we anticipated before the end of this year. It was worth it though because Pacquiao won. It was a TKO 12. I thought in the beginning he would be beat up as the opponent looks tough. That's when the saying that goes, “Don't judge a book by its cover” come into play. Hubby and I had been hyped up because of the action. It was a fair fight to begin with, but the best fighter dominated a great deal. Congratulations to the best fighter in the world, Manny Pacquiao!
Winter plan
Unfortunately, we won't be going away for the winter. It's a tough time to be going for a vacation down south or to get an Outer Banks vacation. I understand though. I can wait for another year to do our usual getaway. I won't mind staying at home all winter. In fact, I might be preparing for something I wanted to pursue. I might go back to school. I said I might because I still have to find out all about it and make sure I actually get in the program. I wanted to work in the health care field. As of the moment, I am anticipating for an information session and then afterward do a review for an admission test. Anyway, I will talk more about it when I know it's going along.
In keeping your business safe
In just two years since we started our business in town, we already had a total of 3 burglaries. Man, did it scare me. It's a good thing we don't live in the site. Regardless, it really made me feel unsafe. The last time the burglar/s actually stole some equipment and the main entry was the window. After listing all the stuff that were stolen, we decided to finally get one of the best business alarms out there. It's worth the peace of mine we are getting.
I wish we had thought of it at the very beginning, we wouldn't have lost some of the things we actually could have used a great deal for the business. The first incident we thought was only a prank because it happened on a mischief night. The second one was more of a stealing than doing something for the fun of it. Then they failed the third time. Since then, we didn't settle for not being able to keep the place safe and secured. The alarm systems give us the peace of mind we needed. I don't think I will ever go back to not having one. It's definitely a must have!
Health care
I thought I'd get a job for the winter, but I changed my mind. I decided to go back to school. Actually, I am thinking about it and still looking into the information about the associate degree I wanted to give a try. Next week, I will be attending a nursing information session and find out if it's really something I would like to pursue. I wanted this, but first of all, I wanted to find out if they will take me. I have to take the admissions test later on before actually enrolling. Wish me luck!
Loose and lost
I love diamonds! Who doesn't? Did you know that diamonds are a girl's best friend? Scratch that. Did you know that men love them too? Yes, some are also in love with diamonds. In fact, it seems like some men adorn themselves more diamonds than your typical female diamond lover. I am talking about those bling blings. Some men are actually pickier than their girlfriends in picking out the size of loose diamonds they are going for in planning for an engagement ring. These men wanted to pride themselves what they can afford, you know. You'll be lucky if you are with one if you too are a diamond nut just like I don't really know who!
